Purpose:
The workshop will provide participants with a structured approach to writing a research proposal

Outcome:
By the end of the workshop participants will be well placed to complete a research proposal appropriate for purpose

Preparing for the workshop:
Preferably, you should have managed to attend the research question and methods workshops before signing up for this one, but if not, then just come with an idea, motivation and a commitment to succeed

Workshop 4 Outline: timings and content subject to alteration in response to learning needs of participants

  • Introductions and welcome
  • What purpose a proposal?
  • Gaining ethical approval - or gaining funding?
  • Help is at hand & being perdantic
  • Individual action planning and evaluation
