Do you want to be a frontline innovator?

Have you ever wanted to be at the front of nursing change, and have a hand in developing ideas and change within your community? First Nurse is offering 24 very special community health professionals, who are not in a senior managerial positions, to join their programme.

Nurse First is a free, year long development programme offered by a partnership between the Queen's Nursing Institute, Buckinghamshire New University, the Shaftesbury Partnership and Johnson & Johnson. Here you will take an idea from concept to a fully-funded reality. The programme is run over 21 days of residential development, professional coaching, expert advisors and access to some of the UK's leading innovators and social entrepreneurs. Here you will also meet leaders of organisations creating social change in healthcare, community development, education, fair trade, community development and health and find out how to apply these tools and techniques in your own community and organisation.

The programme open to all healthcare professionals and starts in Scotland in summer 2012.
