UCL Statistical Science which is part of the Joint Research Unit, this course is designed to give health researchers an understanding of research methods and an insight into how they might apply them in a variety of health care settings.
It is relevant to all health researchers actively involved in research. Several of the sessions include a practical or discussion component where participants will have the opportunity to apply the methods described in the lectures.
Computer based practical work will be carried out. The course is offered by experts in medical statistics and health services research from the Department of Statistical Science at UCL and the UCLH Biostatistics group. A full set of lecture notes and solutions are supplied. Numbers are strictly limited on a first come first served basis.
