Flo was appointed as our Chief Nurse in April 2015. She has NHS Nursing and leadership experience spanning 26 years, with a passion for nursing and organisational culture has experience of working with challenging trusts supporting and driving clinical leadership to improve services and outcomes for patients.
Flo has experience of working at Board level, UCLH being the fourth substantive NHS Director role held; Executive Board member and Non-Executive Director for NHS Innovation South East.
Flo is a Florence Nightingale Foundation Scholar and developed a joint leadership programme which she plans to implement at UCLH to support the role of the band 7 Sisters/Charge Nurses across all sites.
As an invited member onto the Passionate About Caring Today (PACT) Group she has worked with Baroness Audrey Emerton, Dame Elizabeth Fradd, Sir Stephen Moss, Dame Tricia Hart and Anne-Marie Rafferty to develop the Care Cultural Barometer, which was launched in March 2015.
