Sally Hardy is a Professor of Mental Health and Practice Innovation, she is currently working as the Associate Dean for Post Graduate Studies at City University, School of Community and Health Sciences.

Sally has worked with many NHS organisations in England and Australia to help practitioners use and work with research to inform practice. Sally has experience of both quantitative and qualitative approaches and is interested in developing creative methodologies that are suitable for the complexity of health and social care.

Sally has also worked with all levels of practitioners in helping them achieve a piece of research. She was involved in guiding a group of mental health service users through undertaking a research based service evaluation of community based care. The group devised the interview format, questionnaire, undertook the analysis, report write up and are now disseminating the work through several conference presentations, radio interviews and are currently preparing a paper for publication.
