The UCH Nurses' League was founded in 1909, and was a non-profit making organisation that existed for the benefit of UCH nurses. On January 1st 2016 The League became a charity and changed its name to The UCH London Nurses' Charity. It remains a non-profit making organisation run by Trustees who are all volunteers. It is appealing for more nurses (past and present) from UCH to join them.
Becoming an associate of the UCH London Nurses' Charity entitles you to the following:
There is access to funding, help and support through two funds: The Benevolent Fund and the Education Fund. The Christine Harcourt-Smith Awards are presented annually, and The Janet Hull memorial Fund Travel Scholarship is available to help past UCH and present UCLH nurses with travel costs in pursuit of professional nursing studies.

As well as offering membership to the Charity, they also sell a variety of items including pin badges, bags, pens and notecards with all profits going to the charity.
